Climate Change Mitigation Technologies LLC (CCMT) is a New Jersey based developer and manager of medium and heavy-duty battery electric truck projects for public and private fleets that are ready to make the move to zero emission vehicles in order to reduce their C02 emissions and total cost of ownership.
The principals of CCMT have worked together for over 15 years and helped pioneer the development of battery electric trucks and buses in the United States. CCMT developed the projects and helped secure VW Consent Order public funding from the NJDEP for some of the first heavy-duty battery electric truck projects in New Jersey. These projects include, among others, 10 battery electric yard tractors for Red Hook Container Terminal LLC’s Port Newark facility, 2 yard tractors for Best Transportation also located in Port Newark, and 5 battery electric garbage trucks for Regional Industries LLC in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
CCMT provides end-to-end project development and management services including:
In addition to BYD heavy-duty Class 8 battery electric yard tractors, dray trucks, and garbage trucks, CCMT also offers Lightning Systems’ battery electric medium-duty Ford Transit and E-450 / F-550 cargo vans, shuttle buses, and utility work trucks.
The VW Consent Order pays 75% of the cost of a battery electric truck and related charging equipment for private fleets and 100% of these cost for public fleets. This level of funding significantly buys-down the cost of getting started with battery electric trucks so now is a most opportune time to get started.
Please call James Sherman, V.P. and Chief Operating Officer of CCMT at 973-303-2106 or email him at jsherman@ccmtdg.com to discuss your ideas for a battery electric truck fleet project and to map out a pathway to get there.
