Leaders in zero emission battery electric truck fleet project development and management

Welcome to Climate Change Mitigation Technologies LLC (CCMT), the leader in battery electric truck and bus fleet project development and related EV charging infrastructure construction and management. 2023 marks our 10th year in the business of advising public and private fleet owners and operators on how to go electric with confidence.

Battery electric trucks and buses are here and ready for prime-time commercial duty cycles. CCMT is expert in all phases of electric truck and bus fleet electrification from planning, development, and finance to the design and installation of EV charging equipment. CCMT integrates, optimizes, and commissions full turn-key charging systems along with automated software control and telematic systems. We have connected all the dots so you can go electric with confidence and realize the “triple bottom line” of economic benefits in reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) of your fleet, environmental benefits of reduced local air pollution and global CO2 emissions, and societal benefits of cleaner, quieter, and healthier communities to live and work.

Among CCMT’s national “firsts” are:

  • The 2021 commercial delivery of ten (10) BYD heavy-duty 8Y electric terminal tractors to the Red Hook Container Terminal in Port Newark, New Jersey along with related bank of chargers and charge management and telematic control systems. This was and remains the largest delivery of heavy-duty electric terminal tractors on the eastern seaboard of the United States. The fleet is working perfectly, no problems.

  • The 2022 commercial delivery of five (5) BYD medium (6R) and heavy-duty (8R) rear-loading garbage trucks to the Jersey City, New Jersey Department of Public Works. This was and remains the largest delivery of electric garbage trucks in the eastern United States. The fleet is working perfectly, no problems.
